As a user of TurboCAD software, we are sure that you will be pleased to hear that the latest release of TurboCAD 12 from IMSI, incorporates new LWA-Enabled capabilities, provided by the LightWorks rendering engine. This functionality enables you to extend the power of your software by adding accurate, real-world elements - including materials, colours and other visual elements - to your visualisations.
A wide range of LWA material files are downloadable from www.lightworks-user.com enabling you to create even more realistic and relevant designs. These include a range of essential CAD and AEC materials, as well as product design materials and metals, for example: Mold-Tech and Roehlen materials for panelling and UNS Metals. More examples of some of the materials currently available can be found in the column to the right.
Commenting on this news Clive Davies, Partner Programme Manager at LightWork Design, said, "We are delighted that this new release of TurboCAD has taken advantage of the latest LightWorks functionality. In particular, the ability to use LightWorks Archive materials (LWA) will allow TurboCAD users to access the growing number of high quality digital materials in the LWA format. Our experience has been that this will help users to render better images even faster."
Bob Mayer, Executive Vice President of Precision Design, added, "LightWorks has added a lot of value to our latest release and we are particularly pleased to be able to offer our users LWA-Enabled capabilities and the access to 100's of manufacturers' materials."
